Today I’d like to talk about something very important to me and our residents. And we could use all of your help!
Our senior residents have been selected to present their amazing hard work at this year’s Combined Otolaryngology Spring Meetings (COSM)! May 1st-5th.
For those of you who aren’t familiar, COSM is one of the largest and most prestigious Otolaryngology- Head and Neck surgery meetings in the world. In their FIRST trip out of Ethiopia, the residents will not only be able to present their hard work to the elite in our field but also participate in perhaps the best educational experience in their lives.
The conference offers hundreds of presentations on the entire spectrum of otolaryngology. In addition, the hands-on learning and networking they will experience will propel their already promising careers to a level I’m so excited to see.
Our residents work so ridiculously hard (and get paid around $100/month) that they deserve this opportunity to shine. I will do everything in my power to get these 4 residents and their department chair to this conference. Any help would be huge for us.
